An attraction in the Cotswolds you should not miss, if near Broadway, is the Cotwold lavender fields. Every year on our return from Thailand we make a journey to the fields to visit and buy their products. Well, my wife parts with her money.
My wife buys the lavender seeds to put in her lovely scones and they are yummy.
Go to their site for more information: http://www.cotswoldlavender.co.uk/

The only negative about the visit, is that there is a charge of 2.50 pounds to go into the fields. This I feel is a little bit mean. From sales of their products they must makes a lot of money. So I am sure there is no need for a entrance ticket to walk around the fields.
There is also a tea room, which serves fantastic traditional cream teas. Well worth the visit if just for the scones with clotted cream and jam.

Anyways if you visit the area please take a look, you wont be disappointed.
Keep Shooting
I am so, so, SO jealous of this…I have always wanted to photograph a lavender field in bloom. Luck you!
We go back every year and it is still beautiful when they bloom. Many thanks for your comment and for following my blog. I hope you are enjoying what you see.
