After spending three days in Hong Kong with little to show photography wise, it is back to Bangkok for the night then home to Rayong. The weather caused problems throughout the visit and therefore no successful picture posts from the busy city.
Over the course of the next few weeks I will post a number of pictures from my visit in October to give you a further taste of Hong Kong. I have already managed to post imagines.
My accommodation for the trip was L’hotel Island South. It is a first class hotel located on the south of the island. Although the rooms and service was excellent, the draw back is the location. A little out of the way and the need for taxi travel which can be expensive. The nearest town is Aberdeen which about 15 minutes away. To get into the main area of Hong Kong I recommend using the the hotel’s free shuttle service to Central and then take the underground service to all the tourist attractions and nightlife venues. The last shuttle from Central is 11.50pm so gives you time to shop and party.
Soon to be completed is the MTR system which will connect to the main areas.
Hong Kong is a vibrant city and is must to do on anyone’s list of travel destination. So if you planning to travel to Asia consider putting Hong Kong on your itinerary.
So back to work Monday.
